The Coricancha was the most important temple in the Inca Empire, and was described by early Spanish colonialists. It is located in Cusco, Peru, which was the capital of the empire. Coricancha is situated 1 km west of Mercado de Rosaspata.

The Iglesia de la Recoleta is a Catholic church in Cuzco, Peru. Since 1972 the property is part of the Monumental Zone of Cuzco, which was declared a Historical Monument of Peru. Iglesia de la Recoleta is situated 200 metres northeast of Mercado de Rosaspata.

Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, commonly known as Estadio Garcilaso, is Cusco's principal stadium and the home venue of the local football teams Cienciano, Deportivo Garcilaso and Cusco FC, all of which play in the Peruvian Primera División. Estadio Garcilaso is situated 800 metres south of Mercado de Rosaspata.
