Smotrych is a 1,898-metre peak located in the Chornohora mountain range of Carpathian Mountains in western Ukraine. It is situated near Dzembronia in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Pip Ivan is the third highest peak in the Chornohora range, with a height of 2022 meters above sea level. In the interwar period the peak marked the Polish - Czechoslovak, from March 1939 Polish - Hungarian border and numerous skirmishes between OUN and Polish border troops took place in the area.
