The Central Academy of Fine Arts or CAFA is an art academy under the direct charge of the Ministry of Education of China. The Manila Bulletin calls the school "China's most prestigious and renowned art academy." It is considered one of the most selective schools in the country and turns away more than 90% of its applicants each year. Central Academy of Fine Art is situated 1½ km west of Wangjing South.

Gaojiayuan station is a station on Line 12 and Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. The Line 12 station opened on December 15, 2024. Due to the slow and uncertain progress of demolition and relocation of the occupied area for the station equipment buildings, the opening date for the Line 14 station has not yet been determined. Gaojiayuan is situated 1 km southeast of Wangjing South.
