Mauriceville is a rural locality in the Masterton district, part of the Wairarapa region of New Zealand's North Island. The area is about half-way between Masterton and Eketāhuna, and is today split between Mauriceville East and Mauriceville West. Mauriceville is situated 8 km southeast of Aviary 2a.

Eketāhuna is a small rural town, in the south of the Tararua District and the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand's North Island. The town is located at eastern foot of the Tararua Ranges, 35 kilometres north of Masterton and a similar distance south of Palmerston North. Eketāhuna is situated 10 km northeast of Aviary 2a.
