The Taipa Houses–Museum is housed in a set of old houses in Taipa, Macau, China. The museum complex consists of five houses, of which four display various artefacts and exhibits on life during Macau's colonial era while another serves as an event venue.

Taipa is the centremost of the three regions of Macau. Taipa is situated between the Peninsula and Coloane island but is now joined with Coloane by Cotai, which was reclaimed from the sea.

Cotai, also known as the Cotai Strip, is advertised as the "Las Vegas Strip of the East", and not without reason: it houses huge hotels and casinos, upscale shopping, sports facilities, golf courses and more.

Coloane

Coloane is the southern-most island of Macau. It used to be separated from Taipa to the north but the two are now joined by the reclaimed land of the Cotai Strip to form one huge island.
