Gandegg Hut
The Gandegg Hut is an alpine hut, located above Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It is located at a height of 3,029 metres above sea level, near Trockener Steg, approximately halfway between the Matterhorn and the Breithorn. The hut was built in 1885.Photo: Chin tin tin, Public domain.

The Klein Matterhorn is a peak of the Pennine Alps, overlooking Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais. At 3,883 metres above sea level, it is the highest place in Europe that can be reached by aerial tramway or gondola lift, as well as by any other means of transport. Klein Matterhorn is situated 3 km south of Gandegg Hut.
