Cascade Mountain is located in central Utah. With an elevation of 10,908 feet, it is not as high as its neighbors, to the north Mount Timpanogos and Provo Peak to the south, but it is one of the major peaks of the Wasatch Range.

Kyhv Peak is a peak in the Wasatch range. It was once known as "Squaw Peak" and was officially renamed in 2022 as part of a federal order to remove the ethnic slur "squaw" from federally owned places in the United States. Kyhv Peak is situated 1½ miles southwest of The Quarry.

The Slide Canyon, or Y Mountain Trail, leads to a large block Y located 1.06 miles from a parking area at the mountain's base with an elevation gain of 1,074 feet.
