Kōdai-ji is a Buddhist temple located in the Shimogawara neighborhood of Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It belongs to the Kenninji branch of the Rinzai school of Japanese Zen. Kōdai-ji is situated 660 metres northwest of Jishu Shrine.
