Connolly station or Dublin Connolly is the busiest railway station in Dublin and Ireland, and is a focal point in the Irish route network. On the North side of the River Liffey, it provides InterCity, Enterprise and commuter services to the north, north-west, south-east and south-west. Dublin Connolly is situated 300 metres east of Joyce’s Court.

The Spire of Dublin, alternatively titled the Millennium Spire or the Monument of Light, is a large, stainless steel, pin-like monument 120 metres in height, located on the site of the former Nelson's Pillar on O'Connell Street, the main thoroughfare of Dublin, Ireland. The name refers to the North Bull Wall, which was constructed to form Dublin Port, extend the Liffey estuary and reclaim land at various stages from the early 1700s until its final completion around 1825.
