Argoules is a semi-mountainous hamlet in Sfakia municipality on the island of Crete, Greece. It is the easternmost settlement of the Chania regional unit, located at a distance of about 85 km from the city of Chania. Argoules is situated 4½ km west of Panoramic Taverna.

Plakias is a village in Rethymno region of Crete. Plakias has grown from a fishing jetty and a few houses in the 1960s to a tourist resort today. Plakias has a 1300-metre-long sandy beach and there are several other beaches within walking distance.
