The Opel Zoo is a zoo in Königstein im Taunus, Hesse in Germany. The Zoo was founded in 1956 by Georg von Opel, and covers 27 hectares. 1,600 animals from 200 species live in the Zoo, including african elephants. Opel Zoo is situated 600 metres southwest of Kastanienhöhe.

Falkenstein Castle, also called New Falkenstein, is a ruined hill castle at 450 m above sea level in the eponymous climatic spa of Falkenstein, a quarter of Königstein im Taunus in the county of Hochtaunuskreis in the German state of Hesse. Falkenstein Castle is situated 1¼ km west of Kastanienhöhe.
