The Former Jewish School in Leer is a cultural and memorial site in the county seat of Leer in East Frisia. The institution, run by the district of Leer, describes itself as a "place of remembrance and commemoration, for exhibitions and cultural events on Jewish life then and now." It is housed in the school building used from 1909 to 1939 by the former Jewish community of Leer. Former Jewish School is situated 1½ km south of Am Auewäldchen.

The railway station is situated on the Emsland Railway between the railway stations of Emden and Papenburg and it is the railway terminus on the Oldenburg–Leer railway after the railway station of Augustfehn.
