Buddy Bears are painted, life-size fiberglass bear sculptures developed by German businesspeople Klaus and Eva Herlitz, in cooperation with sculptor Roman Strobl.

Schloss Köpenick is a Baroque water palace of the Hohenzollern electors of Brandenburg which stands on an island in the Dahme River surrounded by an English-style park and gives its name to Köpenick, a district of Berlin. Köpenick Palace is situated 150 metres southwest of Schloßplatz.

Köpenick is a historic town and locality in Berlin, situated at the confluence of the rivers Dahme and Spree, in the southeast of the German capital. It was formerly known as Copanic and then Cöpenick, only officially adopting the current spelling in 1931.
