Zürich Oerlikon railway station is a railway station located in District 11 of Zurich and within fare zone 110 of the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund. It is one of the two major nodes for local and regional public transportation in the northern part of Zürich, the other being the railway station at Zurich Airport. Zürich Oerlikon railway station is situated 580 metres west of Oerlikon Velodrome.

The Hallenstadion is a multi-purpose facility in the Oerlikon quarter of northern Zürich. It has a capacity of 11,200 spectators. Designed by Bruno Giacometti, it opened on November 4, 1939, and was renovated in 2004–05. Hallenstadion is situated 210 metres north of Oerlikon Velodrome.
