The University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig is a public university in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. Founded in 1843 by Felix Mendelssohn as the Conservatorium der Musik, it is the oldest university school of music in Germany. Old St. Peter's Church is a Lutheran parish and church in the old town of Leipzig, Germany. The present church building, in Gothic Revival style, was erected from 1882 onwards at the Gaudigplatz, and also serves as a concert venue. Saint Peter is situated 500 metres north of Feinkost.
