Berlin Hbf

Berlin Hauptbahnhof is the railway hub and main station of Berlin. Although the station isn't large, the multi-level station may appear confusing for first-time visitors.

Brandenburg Gate

The Brandenburg Gate is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, Germany. One of the best-known landmarks of the country, it was erected on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to Brandenburg an der Havel, the former capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg.

Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall was a concrete barrier separating Western and Eastern parts of Berlin from 1961 to 1989. It is regarded as one of the symbols of the Cold War.

Mitte, literally meaning "the middle" and being a contraction of Stadtmitte, contains the historical heart of Berlin and represents in many ways the real centre of the city.

City West

City West is the heart of former West Berlin and even after reunification it represents the main retail centre of Berlin — all the best and most expensive shops are here.

East Central

East Central is a trendy, bohemian, artsy area that consists of Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berg, Wedding and Gesundbrunnen. The western district Kreuzberg was merged with the eastern district Friedrichshain in 2001.
