Our Lady of the Rockies High School is operated by the Calgary Catholic School District. It is a composite high school and one of the largest in Calgary, serving just under 1300 students in the communities of south Calgary, Alberta. Our Lady of the Rockies High School is situated 220 metres east of Woodman School.

Heritage Station is a light rail station, part of the Calgary CTrain system, located in the community of Haysboro. The station opened on May 25, 1981. The station has a 557 space park-and-ride lot, a bus loop, and is located southwest of the intersection of Heritage Drive and Macleod Trail S, 7.9 km south of the City Hall Interlocking. Heritage station is situated 680 metres northeast of Woodman School.
