The Archaeological Museum of Sparta, founded in 1875, is a museum in Sparta, Greece that houses thousands of artifacts from the ancient Acropolis of Sparta and the rest of the municipality of Laconia. Archaeological Museum of Sparta is situated 640 metres northeast of Olive Museum.

The Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia, an Archaic site devoted in Classical times to Artemis, was one of the most important religious sites in the Greek city-state of Sparta, and continued to be used into the fourth century CE, when all non-Christian worship was banned during the persecution of pagans in the late Roman Empire. Temple of Artemis Orthia is situated 1½ km northeast of Olive Museum.
