Schneider Arena is the on-campus ice rink and hockey arena at Providence College. It was named in honor of Herman D. Schneider, the founder of the hockey program and a longtime teacher at the school. Schneider Arena is situated 3,900 feet southwest of Hopkins Square.

It is located north of downtown Providence, bounded by North Main Street, Branch Avenue, the Moshassuck River, and Cemetery Street. North Burial Ground is situated 3,800 feet east of Hopkins Square.
