Schneider Arena

Schneider Arena is the on-campus ice rink and hockey arena at Providence College. It was named in honor of Herman D. Schneider, the founder of the hockey program and a longtime teacher at the school. Schneider Arena is situated 2,200 feet southwest of Rhode Island School for the Deaf.

It is located at 31 Candace Street, in a single-story brick building designed by Albert Harkness and built in 1932 by contractor Clifford K. Smith Hill Library-Providence Community Library is situated 1 mile south of Rhode Island School for the Deaf.
