Willimantic is a former intercity rail station located in Willimantic, Connecticut. Amtrak service to Willimantic began in 1991 with the Montrealer; it was closed in 1995 when the service was replaced by the Vermonter and no longer ran through Willimantic. Willimantic station is situated 700 feet southeast of War Memorial Park.

The Willimantic Freight House and Office is a historic railroad freight facility on Bridge Street in the Willimantic section of Windham, Connecticut. Built in 1870, the freight office, a fine example of Second Empire architecture, is now the only surviving element of the city's 19th-century railroad buildings; the freight house has been demolished. Willimantic Freight House and Office is situated 640 feet south of War Memorial Park.
