The Estadio Alejandro Villanueva, popularly known as Matute, is a football stadium located in the Matute neighborhood of the La Victoria district in Lima, Peru. Alejandro Villanueva Stadium is situated 3½ km west of Parque Valdiviezo.

Arriola is a Lima and Callao Metro station on Line 1. The station is located between La Cultura and Gamarra. It was opened on 11 July 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Atocongo to Miguel Grau. The full revenue service started on 3 January 2012. Arriola metro station is situated 2½ km southwest of Parque Valdiviezo.

The Museo de la Nación is one of two major museums of Peruvian history in Lima, Peru. It is much larger than the other main museum in Lima, the Peruvian National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology, and History, but currently it is not being used as a museum, carrying only very sporadic exhibitions. Museum of the Nation is situated 3 km south of Parque Valdiviezo.
