The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre began as a mixed choir of the Estonia Society Musical Department on the eve of World War I. The assembly of the Estonia Society created the Tallinn Higher Music School on November 17, 1918. Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is situated 390 metres southwest of Iceland Square.

St. Nicholas Church is a medieval church building in Tallinn, Estonia. It was dedicated to Saint Nicholas, the patron of the fishermen and sailors. Originally built as a Catholic church in the 13th century, it turned Lutheran during the Protestant Reformation in 1520s. St. Nicholas Church is situated 690 metres northwest of Iceland Square.
