It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Biel/Bienne–Bern and Olten–Bern lines of Swiss Federal Railways and the 1,000 mm gauge Solothurn–Worblaufen line of Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn. Zollikofen railway station is situated 340 metres southeast of Bern Switzerland Temple.
