Petnica Cave

Petnica Cave is located in the village of Petnica, near the city of Valjevo, Serbia. The cave has been popular for tourism since at least the 19th century, when it was one of the three most popular caving destinations in Serbia along with Prekonoska and Lazareva Pecina. Petnica Cave is situated 450 metres east of Petnica Science Center.

The Degurić cave is, according to the latest research, the longest cavern in the region of Valjevo karst. Through the main channel stream flows passing through six siphons. Degurić Cave is situated 4 km west of Petnica Science Center.
