Mount McKay is a mountain in the Australian Alps region of Australia's Great Dividing Range. Skiing is possible during the winter. Nearby is the Falls Creek Alpine Village. The summit is the highest drivable point in Australia at 1,848 m. Mount McKay is situated 3½ km west of Falls Creek.
McKay Creek Power Station
Power station
McKay Creek Power Station is one of four hydroelectric power stations in the Kiewa Hydroelectric Scheme, Victoria, Australia. McKay Creek has six 25 megawatts generators driven by Pelton wheel turbines, with a total generating capacity of 150 megawatts. McKay Creek Power Station is situated 4½ km west of Falls Creek.
