The station opened in 1894 with the opening of the Vejle-Give section of the Vejle-Holstebro Line. Give railway station is situated 1¼ km southwest of Give-Egnens Museum.

Give is a small railway town, with a population of 5,050, in Denmark 30 km northwest of Vejle. As a result of "The Municipal Reform" of 2007 Give Municipality was forced to join Vejle Municipality by the Løkke government.

Thyregod is a railway town, with a population of 1,319, in Vejle Municipality, Denmark. It is the northernmost town in Region of Southern Denmark, located 8 km north of Give, 10 km southeast of Brande, 10 km south of Ejstrupholm and 34 km northwest of Vejle. Thyregod is situated 7 km north of Give-Egnens Museum.

Givskud is a little town in southern Jutland with a population of 614. The town is located in Vejle Municipality in the Region of Southern Denmark. Other than Givskud Church it consisted of only a few farms, a school and a rectory in the 19th century. Givskud is situated 7 km southeast of Give-Egnens Museum.
