Margareten is the fifth district of Vienna. Its border to the north is the Vienna river, to the west and south the Gürtel.

Hundsturm was an independent municipality of Austria until 1850 and is today a suburb of Vienna the city's 5th District, Margareten. The Hundsturm coat of arms shows, on a blue background, a castle tower on a green meadow.

The Naschmarkt is a popular fruit and vegetable market in Vienna. Located at the Wienzeile over the Wien River, it is about 1.5 kilometres long. Originally known as Aschenmarkt, it started to be called the Naschmarket around 1820.
