Sinseol-dong Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1, the Seongsu Branch of Seoul Subway Line 2, and Ui LRT. There is a piece of track that connects the Line 1 and Line 2 stations, and Line 1 trains belonging to Seoul Metro are serviced at the Gunja Train Depot behind Yongdap Station using this connective track. Sinseol-dong is situated 360 metres south of Seoul Daegwang Elementary School.

Dongmyo is a myo shrine in Downtown Seoul, South Korea. It was one of Guandi Temple built in honour of the 3rd century Chinese military commander, Guan Yu. Dongmyo Shrine is situated 1 km southwest of Seoul Daegwang Elementary School.

Heunginjimun, a.k.a. Dongdaemun, is one of The Eight Gates of Seoul in the Seoul City Wall, a prominent landmark in central Seoul, South Korea. The Korean name "Dongdaemun" means "Great East Gate," and it was so named because it was the major eastern gate in the wall that surrounded Seoul during the Joseon period. Dongdaemun is situated 1½ km southwest of Seoul Daegwang Elementary School.
