Changgyeonggung is a palace located in Seoul, South Korea. The palace was built in the mid-15th century by King Sejong for his father, Taejong. It was originally named "Suganggung", but it was renovated and enlarged in 1483 by King Seongjong, at which time it received its current name. Changgyeonggung (Palace) is situated 1¼ km west of 탐구관.

Hyehwamun, also known as Northeast Gate, is one of the Eight Gates of Seoul in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korea, which surrounded the city in the Joseon period. The gate is also known as Dongsomun. The gate was originally called Honghwamun. Hyehwamun Gate is situated 680 metres northwest of 탐구관.

Daehangno is a road in Jongno District, Seoul, connecting Jongno 50ga 82-1 to Hyehwa-dong Rotary). It also refers to the surrounding area, a hub of cultural and artistic activity.
