Qurnet Murai is a necropolis located on the West Bank of the Nile at Thebes, Egypt, just to the south of Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It was also used as a cemetery for officials of the New Kingdom administration in Thebes. Qurnet Murai is situated 130 metres north of Tombs TT 277 & TT 278.

The Colossi of Memnon are two large stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, the largest temple in the Theban Necropolis. Colossi of Memnon is situated 1 km southeast of Tombs TT 277 & TT 278.
