Yakushima is an island off the south east coast of Kyushu next to Tanegashima and north of Okinawa in Japan. Officially a part of Kagoshima Prefecture, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Mount Miyanoura

Mount Miyanoura is a mountain in central Yakushima in Kagoshima Prefecture. At an altitude of 1,936 m, it is the highest peak of Yakushima and also the highest peak of the Kyushu region.
