San Juan City Hall is the seat of government for the Autonomous Municipality of San Juan in Puerto Rico. The city hall is located in Old San Juan, in front of the Plaza de Armas and next to the Antiguo Palacio de la Real Intendencia, which today hosts the Puerto Rico Department of State.

The Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, officially known as the Minor Basilica of Saint John the Baptist and Parish of Our Lady of Remedies, is the Catholic cathedral for the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico. San Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist is situated 120 metres northwest of Plaza de Armas.
