Aachen Cathedral is a Catholic church in Aachen, Germany and the cathedral of the Diocese of Aachen. One of the oldest cathedral buildings in Europe, it was constructed as the royal chapel of the Palace of Aachen of Emperor Charlemagne, who was buried there in 814. Aachen Cathedral is situated 1¼ km east of Westpark.

Aachen Town Hall is a landmark of cultural significance located in the Altstadt of Aachen, Germany. It was built in the Gothic style in the first half of the 14th century. Aachen Town Hall is situated 1¼ km northeast of Westpark.

The Luisenhospital is a Protestant hospital in Aachen, Germany, with 378 planned beds, 12 specialist departments and 11 centers. The hospital, founded in 1867 with the support of the Aachen Association for the Promotion of Industriousness, was named after Queen Luise of Prussia. Luisenhospital is situated 770 metres southeast of Westpark.
