The Costache Negruzzi National College in Iași is one of the most prestigious high schools in Romania. Founded in 1895 as the Boarding High School of Iași, it was named after writer and politician Costache Negruzzi. Costache Negruzzi National College is situated 220 metres south of Parcul Titu Maiorescu.

The Copou Park or Copou Gardens is the oldest public park in Iași, Romania. Its development started in 1834 under the reign of Mihail Sturdza, making the park one of the first public gardens in Romania and a Iași landmark. Copou Park is situated 490 metres northwest of Parcul Titu Maiorescu.

Eminescu’s Linden Tree

Eminescu's Linden Tree is a 500-year-old silver lime in Copou Park, Iași, Romania. Mihai Eminescu reportedly wrote some of his best works underneath this lime, rendering the tree one of Romania's most important natural monuments and a Iași landmark. Eminescu’s Linden Tree is situated 470 metres northwest of Parcul Titu Maiorescu.
