The New Palace is a palace situated on the western side of the Sanssouci park in Potsdam, Germany. The building was begun in 1763, after the end of the Seven Years' War, under King Friedrich II and was completed in 1769. New Palace Potsdam is situated 3 km northeast of Empfangs- und Informationsgebäude.

Golm

Village

Golm is a locality of Potsdam, the capital of the German state of Brandenburg. The former municipality was incorporated in 2003. Its name is derived from Western Slavic chulm, meaning "hill", and refers to one of the nearby elevations, either Reiherberg near the centre of the original village or Ehrenpfortenberg east of it.
