Wabowden is a community in northern Manitoba, Canada. It is situated on Provincial Trunk Highway No. 6, which is the main route between Thompson and the provincial capital, Winnipeg. Wabowden station is situated 560 metres southeast of Wobowden Fire Station.

Bucko Lake Mine is a nickel mine near Wabowden, Manitoba, Canada and is owned by CaNickel Mining LTD previously Crowflight Minerals who purchased the property in November 2008 from Xstrata. Production began on 10 June 2009. Bucko Lake Mine is situated 3½ km southwest of Wobowden Fire Station.
