Monument to the soldier-Liberator

The Monument to the Liberator Soldier, commonly called "Pavlusha", is a large monument in Kharkiv to the Red Army troops who recaptured the city from Nazi Germany in 1943.

23 Serpnia is a station on the Kharkiv Metro's Oleksiivska Line. The station is one of two new stations added to the metro system on 21 August 2004, the other being Botanichnyi Sad. 23 Serpnya is situated 120 metres northwest of Monument to the soldier-Liberator.

The Derzhprom or Gosprom building is an office building located on Freedom Square in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Built in the Constructivist style, it was the first modern skyscraper building in the Soviet Union upon its completion in 1928. Derzhprom is situated 3 km south of Monument to the soldier-Liberator.
