Mondesa is a suburb of Swakopmund in central western Namibia. The residential area is located in the northeast of the town. In the northwest, it borders on the neighbourhood Tamariskia and in the south on the industrial area. Mondesa is situated 3 km southeast of 5456.

The city's German origins are quite pronounced in beautiful old German colonial buildings throughout the city, making an even starker contrast for this town sitting at the edge of the Namib Desert.
