It has five tracks served by three platforms, and functions as the easternmost terminus of the NJ Transit Atlantic City Line to and from Philadelphia. Atlantic City Rail Terminal is situated 2,000 feet south of Atlantic City Fire Station #3.

Opened on May 1, 1997, the center includes 500,000 sq ft of showroom space, 5 exhibit halls, 45 meeting rooms with 109,000 sq ft of space, a garage with 1,400 parking spaces, and an adjacent Sheraton hotel. Atlantic City Convention Center is situated 1,800 feet south of Atlantic City Fire Station #3.

Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, formerly known as the Historic Atlantic City Convention Hall, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Built from 1926 to 1929, it was Atlantic City's primary convention center until the opening of the new Atlantic City Convention Center in 1997. Boardwalk Hall is situated 1 mile south of Atlantic City Fire Station #3.
