St Patrick’s Basilica

The Basilica of Saint Patrick is a Roman Catholic Church in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Located at 281 Nepean Street in Downtown Ottawa, it is the oldest church in the city that serves the English-speaking community. St Patrick’s Basilica is situated 170 metres southeast of Minto Place.

Lyon station is an underground light rail station on Line 1 of the O-Train in Ottawa located in the western portion of Ottawa's downtown, specifically at Lyon Street and Queen Street, the latter being the street the line runs under within Ottawa's downtown core. Lyon station is situated 220 metres northwest of Minto Place.

Centretown is a neighbourhood in Somerset Ward, in central Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is defined by the city as "the area bounded on the north by Gloucester Street and Lisgar Street, on the east by the Rideau Canal, on the south by the Queensway freeway and on the west by Bronson Avenue." Traditionally it was all of Ottawa west of the Rideau Canal, while Lower Town was everything to the east.

Ottawa's Chinatown is located along Somerset Street west of downtown Ottawa. It runs from Bay Street in the east to Preston Street in the west. Signs for Chinatown continue along Somerset until Preston Street, and Chinese/Asian restaurants can be found even farther west.
