The Princess Theatre is a two-screen art-house cinema located at 10337 Whyte Avenue in Edmonton's historic Old Strathcona neighbourhood. The building was designed by prominent Edmonton architects Wilson and Herrald, a firm responsible for the design of many other Edmonton heritage sites. Princess Theatre is situated 500 metres northeast of Bonanza Village.

The Strathcona Library, one of the oldest libraries in Alberta, completed in 1913, was the first library erected in the City of Edmonton. The Walterdale Playhouse is an amateur live performance venue in the Strathcona neighborhood of Edmonton. In 2008 the venue celebrated 50 year of theater.
