The is a unique and significant botanical garden located in the southern part of , a city in Northern . Situated on the west side of the inland end of the fjord , at an elevation of about 45 metres, the garden is one of the northernmost botanical gardens in the world, just 85 kilometers south of the Arctic Circle.
