Tōfuku-ji is a Buddhist temple in Higashiyama-ku in Kyoto, Japan. Tōfuku-ji takes its name from two temples in Nara, Tōdai-ji and Kōfuku-ji. It is one of the Kyoto Gozan or "five great Zen temples of Kyoto". Its honorary sangō prefix is Enichi-san.

Myōan-ji is a Buddhist temple located in Kyoto, Japan. Myōan-ji is a sub-temple of Tōfuku-ji, and contained within the larger Tōfuku-ji temple complex, located in Higashiyama ward. Myōan-ji is situated 220 metres northwest of Ryōgin-an.

For centuries, Sennyū-ji has been a mausoleum for noble families and members of the Imperial House of Japan. Sennyū-ji Temple is situated 490 metres east of Ryōgin-an.
