The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, previously known as Villa Vizcaya, is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering, of the Deering McCormick-International Harvester fortune, on Biscayne Bay in the present-day Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida.

Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed acute care hospital located in Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida. It is Miami-Dade County's only Catholic hospital, it is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, Florida. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is situated 1,900 feet southwest of The Barge.

Vizcaya station is a station on the Metrorail rapid transit service station in The Roads neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The station is located near the intersection of Southwest First Avenue and 32nd Road, adjacent to the national southern terminus of I-95 at South Dixie Highway, two blocks southeast of Coral Way. Vizcaya station is situated 2,200 feet north of The Barge.

Downtown Miami is a district in Miami, steel-and-glass buildings have sprung up around downtown, the heart of the city. By day there's plenty of activity downtown, as suited lawyers and bankers share the sidewalks with Latino merchants wearing open-neck, intricately embroidered shirts called guayaberas. Brickell is situated 1½ miles northeast of The Barge.

Little Havana is located just west of Downtown Miami. Also known as the Latin Quarter, it received its name by being a Cuban neighborhood from the 1970s until the 1990s, but now consists of many Central and South Americans.
