The Allied Command Transformation is a military command of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, formed in 2003 after restructuring. It was intended to lead military transformation of alliance forces and capabilities, using new concepts such as the NATO Response Force and new doctrines in order to improve the alliance's military effectiveness. Allied Command Transformation is situated 2½ miles southeast of Pier 7.
