Erebuni Historical-Archaeological Reserve-Museum, was established on October 19, 1968. The opening of the museum was timed to coincide with the 2750th anniversary of Yerevan. Erebuni Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve is situated 2 km east of AMOT.

The Armenian Railways Museum is a railway museum in Yerevan, Armenia. On 31 July 2009, the South Caucasus Railway Company, a rail operator in Armenia, owned by Russian Railways, opened the Railway Museum in Yerevan in the building of Yerevan railway station. Armenian Railways Museum is situated 2 km north of AMOT.

Gortsaranain is a Yerevan Metro station, which opened on 11 July 1983. The station is located in the Shengavit District and exits at Shirak, Araratyan, and Tamantsiner streets, adjacent to the southern industrial zone. Gortsaranayin Station is situated 1¼ km west of AMOT.

Erebuni is one of the 12 districts of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It is situated southeast of the city centre where Erebuni Fortress is located. The name of Yerevan itself is derived from ancient Erebuni.
