The National Diet Library is the national library of Japan and among the largest libraries in the world. It was established in 1948 for the purpose of assisting members of the National Diet of Japan in researching matters of public policy. National Diet Library is situated 1 km southeast of Belgium Square.

Yotsuya Station is a railway station in the Yotsuya district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, operated jointly by East Japan Railway Company and Tokyo Metro. Several parts of the station are also located in the Rokubancho and Kojimachi neighborhoods of Chiyoda ward. Yotsuya is situated 460 metres west of Belgium Square.

Yasukuni Shrine

Yasukuni Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It was founded by Emperor Meiji in June 1869 and commemorates those who died in service of Japan, from the Boshin War of 1868–1869, to the two Sino-Japanese Wars, 1894–1895 and 1937–1945 respectively, and the First Indochina War of 1946–1954. Yasukuni Shrine is situated 1¼ km northeast of Belgium Square.
