Lama Foundation
Lama Foundation is a spiritual community founded in 1967, located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico, seventeen miles north of Taos. The original commune was co-founded by Barbara Durkee, Stephen Durkee, and Jonathan Altman.- Type: Hamlet

San Cristobal is a census-designated place in Taos County, New Mexico. Its population was 273 as of the 2010 census, and in the 2020 census the population was 206 persons with a total number of households at 49. San Cristobal is situated 3½ miles southwest of Lama Foundation.
