The State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, previously known as the National Museum of Turkestan, was founded in 1876. It is located in Tashkent. Formerly known as the Lenin Museum, the History Museum of Uzbekistan has since been renovated and more exhibits have been added. State Museum of History of Uzbekistan is situated 800 metres north of Сход граждан махалли ‘Афросиёб’.

Kosmonavtlar is a space-programme-themed station of the Tashkent Metro. It honours Soviet cosmonauts such as Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova, the first man and woman in space. Cosmonauts is situated 250 metres west of Сход граждан махалли ‘Афросиёб’.
